![]() "His expression on stage turns into a passion and is rather rare among playing violinists..." Michal Bacala, one of most outstanding young Polish violinists of his generation, started playing at the age of 9. A graduate of The Academy of Music in Lodz in 2004, student at 'Hochschule fur Music und Theater' in Rostock and concert master of a baroque chamber orchestra, he received a scholarship from Mecklenburg's Ministry of Culture in 2006. As well as representing Poland on the day it joined the EU, at a concert in Brussels in 2004, he also performed for Pope John Paul II in 2003, on the 25th anniversary of his pontificate, at a concert which was transmitted all around the world. An experienced international performer, Michal's declared intention is: "to make every performance a fabulous experience and unforgettable feast for the soul". |
