Lisa Amato's musical career began at three years old, when she broke a toy piano given as a birthday gift. She's improved since then, having played with some of the country's finest musicians, as well as being a resident pianist at London's most prestigious hotels. A jazz musician by trade (she's also a professional electric bass player), her repertoire covers every style including rock, pop, soul, show standards, Classical and (of course) jazz. Listeners are sometimes surprised to hear arrangements of current chart hits, but as Lisa says "if it's a good tune, it'll work". She particularly enjoys taking requests from the audience and if she can't do your tune on the spot, she'll learn it for the next time.
