Richard covers most styles of popular, jazz and easy-listening piano and may be booked either as a solo pianist, where a piano is available at the venue, or as a self contained piano/keyboard act where all necessary equipment including PA system is provided by him.

He encourages people to make requests and draws from a vast repertoire of songs which he can immediately deliver from memory, from show songs to jazz standards and popular ballads. Years of playing requests in hotel bars and restaurants makes it hard to catch him out!

Bookings are generally taken over a three hour period during which a break of usually around twenty minutes is taken. Flexibility is often the key to any successful event, and timings can always be negotiated. Distance to the venue is generally not a problem, though in certain circumstances an additional travelling fee may apply.
