WISH SEREDYNSKI

Wish SeredynskiWish has over 40 years of experience behind the piano. Having studied privately in Poland under internationally renowned teachers, he has been a fixture at the piano for a variety of ships and hotels around the world and is a composer of a number of works for shows, radio, TV and touring theatre troupes, in addition to staging and directing shows. He has also won prizes in song competitions in the past.

He moved to the United Kingdom in 1981, choosing Brighton as his home town. In September 2002 Wish moved again, this time to Thailand but remains a British citizen.

He is known at the London musical stage as well as P&O European Ferries, Renaissance Cruise Liners, Princess Cruises, Crystal Cruises and recently Cunard QE2, where audiences are comparing his voice to Maurice Chevalier... a tremendous compliment in his eyes.

Being an accomplished and very versatile pianist, Wish's repertoire covers a wide variety of music from classical, operas, operettas, shows, musicals, to jazz and popular songs, including the music of Bach, Chopin, Dvorak, Grieg, Mozart, Schubert, Tchaikovski, family of Strauss', Lehar, Kalman, Abraham, Offenbach, Friml, Dostal, Gershwin, Kern, Cole Porter, Loeve, Herman, Bernstein, Claud-Michel Shonberg, Sondheim, Billy Joel, Elton John Duke Ellington and many others.

Viennese music and operettas are very close to his heart, because his father was a highly acclaimed conductor and Musical Director of Polish Radio orchestras. In the mid 1920s his father was also conducting in Vienna, where he was leading Viennese orchestras in front of famous composers like Emmerich Kaman, Franz Lehar and Oscar Strauss.
