Brett Cave

Brett was born in Leicester, England, in 1973 to theatrical parents. At the age of 7 he took up the piano and drums, eventually becoming the percussionist of the Leicester Junior Symphony Orchestra. His piano training took him to grade 8 by the age of 15 enabling him to become the resident pianist at the 4* North Lakes Hotel Penrith, Cumbria.

The next few years, whilst playing the piano and the percussion, Brett studied a National Diploma in Performing Arts after which he became a Butlins Redcoat at The Grand Hotel, Llandudno. From there he moved to Bognor Regis and then to Pontins before breaking out and going solo.

During his career Brett has worked around the globe, throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Brett has sailed the world working onboard cruise ships including P&O, Princess Cruises, Carnival Cruises & Cunard's QE2. He has worked extensively in the UK where he was a Duelling Pianist for the famous Jumpin' Jacks before becoming Entertainments Manager for the flagship venue in Bournemouth.

He can be seen regularly at various London hotels including The Ritz, Picaddilly; The Conrad, Chelsea Harbour and the Millennium Hotel, Mayfair. Brett has worked with many internationally renowned artists such as Blue, Liberty X, The Real Thing, Heatwave, Go West, Boney M, Jason Donovan and Martine McCutcheon amongst others, and has recently made several appearances performing with Jaki Graham.

Brett is also a Musical Director who writes and arranges his own music at his studio near Guildford.
