SINGER-PIANISTS
CAT SIMONI
While at university, Cat began opera training, and began to extend her performance schedule to opera, musicals, and recitals. It was the combination of voice and piano which led to her first writing and starring in cabaret productions for travelling theatre companies. The response she received to these ventures, encouraged her to make the larger commitment to making it to the top of her game! Cat moved to London in 1997 and has since worked with producers Geoff Morrow, Peter Van Hook, Bill Kenwright, Chris Kimsey, has sang with Boy George, Kiki Dee and been asked to pen songs for Mark Morrison, Kym Marsh, Atomic Kitten, Will Young and many more! She has played at the Kashmir Klub, the Liverpool Empire, the Sound Republic, Waterrats, W1, and the Bedford on numerous occasions and solos most nights of the week at some of London's top hotels. She freelances as a backing singer, writer and
arranger, while working on her new album with Francesco Cameli of Sphere
Studios. Cat gives a mesmerising live performance, and holds firmly to the belief that this is the true test of a musician's talent.
