ANTHONY STUART LLOYD

From Wales, the Land of Song, Anthony Stuart Lloyd, one of the most talked about upcoming top versatile and distinguished international artists, whose beautiful ‘Rolls-Royce’ voice has enthralled audiences worldwide. Anthony initially graduated in Hospitality Management but the “singing chef” soon hung up his “whites” after a Sir Geraint Evans Scholarship enabled him to attend The Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama where awards and accolades soon followed, including, the Royal National Eisteddfod “Blue Riband” and a “Young Welsh Singers” prize at St. David’s Hall, Cardiff.

Anthony has sung with The Welsh National Opera, The Toulouse Capitole Opera, Freiburg Opera, The London Symphony Orchestra and The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra to name a few. His recent West End appearances include Jacob in Lloyd Webber‘s “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” and The Ghost of Christmas Present in the London Palladium Production of “Scrooge - The Musical‘s” recent UK tour.

He has given performances to royalty and countless dignitaries. He was the first ever vocalist to perform at the Bait al-Barakah Palace for HM The Sultan of Oman’s 30th Jubilee Royal Command Performance and showcased for the Welsh Assembly Government in Dubai, in the presence of HH Sheikh Juma bin Maktoum, and in Hong Kong for WAG First Minister Rhodri Morgan and The British Ambassador for Paris and sang at the official opening of “The Emerging Vision” for the late Diana Princess of Wales.

In Cabaret, Anthony has performed in New York at the Waldorf Astoria and The Rockerfeller Centre’s “Rainbow Room”, The Carlton Club (Piccadilly) as well as other prestigious international venues.

Television appearances include: TV New Zealand’s “Good Morning”, NBC’s “Today Show”, the title role in “St. David”, Black Bob in “The Little Sweep”. His voice features in the puppet animation of “Rigoletto” and the feature film “Twin Town”. He also supplied the spoken voice of Jisan for the film “The Warrior”.
