DANNY WALTEN

Danny Walten began singing at the age of six and was already being featured on BBC radio by the age of twelve. He trained with the world renowned teacher, Mary Thomas, at the Royal Academy in London and with Stanley Zareff in New York.

His west end and National Tour appearances include:

  • Evita
  • Jesus Christ Superstar
  • The Rocky Horror Show
  • Cabaret
  • They're Playing Our Song
  • Fame

During these London years he also managed to fit in numerous appearances on BBC and network television, including:

  • The Bob Monkhouse Show
  • Live And Kicking
  • The Laurence Olivier Awards
  • The James Whale TV Show

He still records live sessions for BBC radio and appears freqeuntly as an actor and voice over artist for newsnight. Other recording work includes several cast albums, voice overs and three albums as a solo artist.

As a solo performer, writer and singer he has performed all over the world, in theatres, concert halls and four major cruise lines. He is an engaging and highly versatile performer whose live show covers a broad spectrum of musical styles.
